Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has instructed to reduce the number of visiting team that will accompany him to the United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
He has directed Chief Secretary Baikuntha Aryal to decrease the Prime Minister’s Office delegation from 24 to 5 personnel, as was earlier planned for a trip to America.
The Prime Minister now has one personal secretary, one photographer, and two security guards. It has not yet been decided who would be replaced as personal secretary, although Ganga Dahal is expected to leave. Ganga is also Prime Minister Prachanda’s daughter.
Prime Minister Prachanda is leaving for the United States on Bhadra 30 (Sept 16) to participate in the United Nations General Assembly.
On behalf of Nepal, Prime Minister Prachanda will address the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Ashoj 4 (Sept 21).
Prime Minister Prachanda will go directly to China from America on Ashoj 5 (Sept 22).
