Elections and the World Cup doesnot affect the screening of “Mahapurush”

The movie ‘Mahapurush’, which was released the day after Bhai Tikaa, is being screened in the fourth week. Elections and World Cup football tournament have not affected the business of this film. Most of the shows that the film got are house full. Due to the fact that the impression of the audience has remained the same, the show of the film in the multiplex has not been reduced.

Multiplex chain QFX alone has 18 shows in its outlets across the country. Under QFX, one show at Darbar Cinemax, three shows at QFX in Bhaktapur, three shows at Labim Mall, three shows at Civil Mall, one show at Chayaan Center in Thamel. Under QFX Mofasal, one show was given in Nepalganj, one show in Butwal, three shows in Jalma in Narayanghat, one show in Biratnagar, and one show in Birtamode.

Multiplexes in Kathmandu include two shows at Big Movies at City Center in Kamalpokhari, three shows at Vishwajyoti Cineplex at Jamal, one show at Cuz Cinemas at Rising Mall at Darbarmarg, two shows at BSR Movies at Gongbu, one show at Kirtipur Cineplex, four shows at Ranjana Cineplex at New Road, CTC Mall at Sundhara. There is one show at Cine de Safe and four shows at Fcube at KL Tower in Chabahil. Two shows have been given at One Cinemas in Baneshwar and three shows at Kalimati. Under INI Cinemas, two shows have been given at Lotse Mall and two shows at INI in Butwal.

Writer and director Pradeep Bhattarai said that the audience’s attraction has not decreased as the show remains the same in the fourth week. “The day and night shows are more houseful than in the morning because the time and leisure come together. The audience is connected with the message we are trying to convey. Along with the business, the satisfaction on the faces of the audience when they go out to watch the film is our success,” said director Bhattarai. The film has already set a record for performance in America. The film is also house full in Dallas in its fourth week. Similarly, the film, which is being screened successfully in Australia, will be screened in Europe from November and in the UAE from December 1.  Madankrishna Shrestha, Harivansh Acharya, Gauri Malla, Rajaram Poudel, Rabindra Singh Baniyan, Shiru Bista along with Arun Chhetri and Anjana Barailly play the lead roles in the film.  The film depicts the  story of loneliness of a  father and single man and a gifted teacher who lives in Adarshnagar. The serious issues of the society are presented in a simple way through the son who has separated to build a future, the son who is going to Australia with his dream and the teacher who is alone.
